Preserving Our Legacy

Our Background

The Seven and Eight Park Street Foundation was formed in September 2007, with Federal income tax exemption and charitable status established in 2008. This has enabled the creation of a funding mechanism for the preservation of the historic clubhouse at Seven and Eight Park Street, and historic preservation in the surrounding area.

Generous contributions help to preserve the architectural, historic, and cultural heritage of Boston. Foundation funds can be used for the historic preservation of our building, including but not limited to, the architectural façade, supporting structures, electrical, mechanical and vertical transportation systems.

By making expenditures for these purposes, the Foundation can provide funds beyond those assessed and set aside for annual capital and maintenance purposes by the club, which will assist in maintaining and improving the treasure which is Seven and Eight Park Street.

Since inception, the Seven and Eight Park Street Foundation has raised and spent over $1 million on eligible projects.
